Rosé events in the UK with special offers for Spanish wineries

Spanish rosé producers! Last minute exhibition offer in Edinburgh and London

Cavas, corpinnat and other sparklings are more than welcome!

On 16 June there is an opportunity to present your rosé wine or sparkling wine to members of the Scottish trade, while on 18 June, on Drink Pink Wednesday the London press and trade will participate in a tasting, where so far there aren’t any Spanish wines. Besides the key rosé players from Provence, Tuscany, Rhône, Bandol, Austria and Greece will be represented, even no-alcohol Kylie Minogue rosé will be introduced. How about the Spanish / Catalan pink wines? Last minute, discounted price for a very limited number of producers, only until 16 May.

Events by the Queen of Rosé

‘When queen of rosé Elizabeth Gabay MW organises a ‘fine rosé day’ in London, you pay attention. Gabay has her fingers on the pink pulse like no one else, and if anyone can call in bottles of rosé that might be considered ‘fine’, it is she.’ Tamlyn Currin (JancisRobinson.com)
Elizabeth Gabay Master of Wine is probably the most renowned rosé expert in the world, she dedicates all her time to the trendy, pink substance. With her son, Ben Bernheim they have launched a complex rosé campaign with several events and a rosé writing competition (see more below).
Elizabeth is keen on featuring the most important rosé sparkling wines from Spain as well, as we could see in this article about cava, corpinnat and others. Since Elisabeth and Ben would love to feature the entire rosé scene, which cannot be entire without the Spanish rosés. What is more, since most of the wines to be displayed are still, the Spanish sparkling rosés would have a great chance to stand out.

Some practical information:

– Edinburgh Rosé Day, 16 June
The price of a wine to be featured is 150 GBP, however, the organisers offer discounted participation for 100 GBP. Personal participation is not obligatory, there will be professionals to introduce the wine.
– Drink Pink Wednesday, London, 18 June
There are three options:
1. A full table (normally £800) for £700, with space for up to 6-7 wines. Ideally, someone would need to be present on the day.
2. For collectives or larger producers, the organisers can also offer two tables (16 wines) at £1400 instead of £1600.
3. £200 per wine (normally £250) for the free-pour table.
The deadline for application is 16 May, but places are limited!
