CSWWC 2024
The medal winners of the 11th Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships (CSWWC) were announced on 16 September with a total of 167 Gold and 229 Silver Medals awarded. Nearly 1000 sparkling wines were judged over 11 days from 20 countries. Spain achieved the 4th position on the ranking of countries according to the number of medals. However, the Best in Class and Trophy winners were revealed at CSWWC Awards Dinner two days ago, on 24 October in London. And the “Oscars” for the best Spanish Sparkling wines go to…

The Sparkling Wine Producer of the Year Trophy is Ferrari (Italy, Trentodoc) with 13 gold medals.
1. Italy took the top of the leader board for the most medals triumphing with 70 gold and 123 silver medals.
2. The next is France with 55 gold medals and 36 silver medals.
3. Australia took third place on the medal leader board with 7 gold medals and 15 silver medals.
4. Spain has the prestigious 4th place with 13 gold medals and 6 silver medals.
5. The hosting country of the contest, United Kingdom is the 5th in the ranking with 5 gold medals and 10 silver medals.
